We are volunteers in the true sense of the word. There are therefore no fat-cat SWORDE-Teppa salaries. All donations to SWORDE-Teppa projects, financial or goods in kind, go directly to the implementation of the projects in the country of operation.

Money is not unnecessarily wasted or used to justify the ever-greedy animal some call ‘administration’ and ‘overhead costs’. This is unique to SWORDE-Teppa and enables us to use precious donations where they are needed most. YOUR KIND DONATIONS WILL NOT BE WASTED WITH SWORDE-TEPPA.

OPPORTUNITIES

Southern deserts of Tajikistan

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES in Tajikistan:

We are the only organisation with qualified specialists relevant to our projects in Central Asia. SWORDE-Teppa offers the unparalleled experience of working as a volunteer with these projects in the field. Volunteers may even learn a new language (Russian, Tajik or Uzbek). Volunteers are expected to finance their own travel arrangements to and from Tajikistan and basic board and lodgings whilst in the Republic. SWORDE-Teppa can help and advise on all necessary arrangements. Volunteers will stay in comfortable and secure SWORDE-Teppa guesthouse in the city of Kurgan-Tyube Tajikistan and will be allocated a personal, English-speaking assistant with knowledge of the local area. SWORDE-Teppa will also provide project related transport whilst in Tajikistan. See Volunteers Conditions and Costs We are currently seeking volunteers to teach English and English culture, computer, sports and fitness, environmental sciences and conservation, management and administration, catering, veterinary nursing, and other subjects allied to our projects. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES in the UK:

SWORDE-Teppa is advertising for applicants for the following posts in the UK:

1. Professional fundraiser
To be in charge of SWORDE-Teppa fundraising in the UK, promotion and awareness campaigns, meeting potential sponsors, website news, promoting volunteer and research programmes, to promote SWORDE-Teppa and its activities in a positive manner, etc.

2. Desk Officer
To oversee the management of SWORDE-Teppa UK ‘office’, administration, logistics, charity commission, banking and tax issues, insurance and employment issues, weekly and monthly reports, to promote SWORDE-Teppa and its activities in a positive manner, etc.
